Eastern Blooms

Greetings! I am very pleased with the way this card turned out. My mom called me tonight and requested a 'Thank You' card by tomorrow. So I put this one together with inspiration from SCS.

I am also considering swapping this card with one of the Stamp Camp cards, probably the 'Thinking of You' card. Actually make it official... we will be making this one! I will modify my post below.

I don't have much else to say... it's been a typical Monday!

Stamp Camp Monday, May 4th at 6:00 p.m.

I am holding my first 'Stamp Camp!' Stampers will be making 2 of each card above, for a total of 12 cards! I tried to appeal to everyone's different style, layout, and color interests. If you aren't excited enough about the cards to sign up this time, be sure to stay tuned for future camps! I will always have something different! If you have questions about the event, be sure to email me at gardenofgreetings@yahoo.com. I hope to see you there!

Comfort Food!

Just for the record, the Stampin' Success Magazine that Stampin' Up! Demonstrators exclusively receive is my new comfort food! This card is a sample they published and I just had to try it. I used a different stamp set, but the same layout. I was so excited that I just jumped in and didn't think about the phrase I was using... I meant to use 'You're on my mind' but I ended up with 'Birthday Celebrations' instead! Have a great week!

Spread Your Wings!

This week's Blogger's Challenge was to use these colors: Artichoke, Chocolate, Sage, and Sahara Sand. Have you ever just wanted to spread your wings and fly? Me too. But I run the risk of being shot up there just like I do down here, so I might as well just stay here and stamp! I used one of my favs... "Flight of the Butterfly" from Stampin' Up! for this challenge.

Shoe Box Swap!

I am attending a Shoe Box Swap on Thursday, so I thought I would share what will be in my Shoe Box! There will be several other make-n-takes so I thought I would make it sweet and simple. This 3x3 card will be great for a baby shower gift!

I went back and forth with the brown in the lion. I made the hair brown and the face pink and then I made the hair pink and face brown. I couldn't decide which looked better. The face got lost with the brown hair. So, I will just let the ladies decide how they want to make it! The brown ribbon along with the 3D lion's head brings it all together! The inside reads, "Wild About You!" I am very happy with the card!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

I Love Stamping!!

Tonight I plowed through the crowd of people drooling over the opportunity to make these adorable cards at The Stamp Shoppe, instructed by the amazing Jane Bosi! Luckily I had connections so I could move to the front of the line! These cards speak for themselves! Don't you covet them?

The "Happy Mudder's Day" card is famous! Check out Jane's blog to learn more.

HAPPY STAMPING!

Three's a Crowd!

I just love this card! I had an after thought after I took the picture of adding glitter to the center of the flower of the center flower! Did you follow that one? I made multiple of the same card using 'grateful' and 'friendship.' I really enjoyed making them because the recepient is such a wonderful and inspiring person who appreciates the importance of a greeting card!
