Trick or Treat!

Isn't this pumpkin gift bag the cutest?! I got this great idea from SCS-- I couldn't resist making it! I used the pillow box die. It was so quick and easy! I loved making this, I can't wait to make more closer to Halloween!

I've Been Inspired!!

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post! So many things have changed in my life over the past several weeks... but they are good things!

Sadly, stamping hasn't been a priority. However, after tonight's Stamp Club meeting I have been inspired to get stamping again! Thanks Patrice!!

I am anxious to get back in my stamping groove!! Stay tuned...

Stamp-a-Stack July 23rd at 6:00 p.m.

Here are 3 of the 5 cards we will be making at the next Stamp-a-Stack! I hoped to have received a Big Shot die I ordered before today, but no such luck! As soon as I get it, the remainding cards will be posted! We are making 2 of each card for a total of 10 cards... and this is exciting, we will be making 2 Pillow Boxes using the Big Shot! The template was included in the same order as the die... so hopefully I will have them soon! I am pacing over here! I hope you can make it! I will also bring many additional sentiments to suit your needs! Shoot me an email at gardenofgreetings@yahoo.com or give me a call at (715) 241-8472 if you plan to attend. I am certain you will be just as excited about the Pillow Boxes as I am!

Fireworks!

I can't wait for the fireworks this weekend! We will be traveling tomorrow, so I had to post a day early for the Bloggers Challenge! I don't have any stamps that celebrate our independance... what a shame. But bugs are certainly a staple in every 4th of July celebration, so I thought I would use this cutie for a simple red, white, and blue card!

I can't wait for my light tent to arrive! You will notice a drastic improvement in my pictures! My little digital camera just doesn't do the job!

Rub-On's!

Although my first love is a rubber stamp, rub-on's sure make for a quick and fabulous card! Try it! I was a card making machine using rub-on's I just had laying around!

Happy Birthday!

I love the Stampin' Up! Crazy For Cupcakes stamp set! We have been camping all weekend, so this will be a quick post! I just wanted to show off this card, I am really happy with the way it turned out! As always, I was inspired by Split Coast Stampers!

Happy Father's Day!

What's that? You want more Kiwi Kiss?! Okay, if you insist! Well, you may not insist, but I do! I need to use the last of my 'In Colors' to move on to the new ones... it's bittersweet. You are going to LOVE the new 'In Colors!' Not only will you LOVE the new colors, but you are going to be drooling over the new Stampin' Up! catalog!

I am very blessed because I have wonderful parents, including 2 Dads who prove their unconditional love every day! Coming from a divorced family isn't as bad as I once thought it would be. Making Father's Day cards excites me because it's a chance to thank both of my Dad's for being a very important part of my life. I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day weekend!

Just Because...

I love the black and white color combo! It's a black tie affair for my cards today! I used rub-on's for these cards... so quick and simple!

Simple...

I recently coordinated our guest bedroom according to this color scheme! I just love it! This card is easily done in 10 minutes... or less! So get out your favorite stamp set and make a quick card to thank that someone who has done something nice for you! I hope this card inspires you!

Light Tent?

Okay, I have exhausted my searches... I can't find a light tent or photo box anywhere. My searches just turn up DIY tips to make one. Um, no thanks! So, I am reaching out to you! Where did you find yours?

Summer Mojo!

It was a beautiful sunny day today! And the only way you are getting me out of that sun is to dangle Jane Bosi's cards in front of me! Aren't these cards the cutest? I went to her class at The Stamp Shoppe tonight, and as always, I am beaming with excitement about the cards we made! How can you deny that maze? And the cheese slices, seriously! If you are missing your mojo, taking her class is a must to get it back!

Layers! Layers! Layers!

Okay, so I think I got a little carried away with the layers! It has been a rainy couple of days... it's a recipe for a good television and card making!

Retirement Cards!

I was asked to make retirement cards for a few teachers I work with. I don't have a 'Retirement' stamp so I used 'Celebrate.' I think retiring is a reason to celebrate! The first card is a CASE from Cupcake Martini. The second card is for a Music teacher. I LOVE the new set, 'Great Friend' from Stampin' Up! I have lots of butterfly stamps, but this one is my fav!! And the third card is a twist from a previous card I did. I hope they inspire you!

Addiction!

I am not sure which addiction is more powerful... my addiction to junk food or Kiwi Kiss?! I like simple layouts, clean lines, and white cardstock. I try to force myself to use more color and embellishments in some of my cards, but it tends to end up all cluttered and I am usually not real excited about the result. Although, sometimes I surprise myself! So this card is me... it speaks my style and I love it!

A Note...

My Great Grandma & Nana live in the Northwoods of Minnesota. I live in Wisconsin. We see them only a few times a year, during the summer and over the holidays, but I know that isn't enough. So I am sending them this card to remind them we haven't forgotten about them!

Mojo Thursday!

It's been a productive day! I hope these cards inspire you!
