Life of a Blog...

Well, it's again been too long since I have posted. I don't blame any followers who have checked out... I have so many interests that it's hard to pin me down to just one! I enjoy baking, gardening, reading, home projects, design, and of course stamping! As I was transplanting a few flowers today, I thought, "I should really start a blogging schedule."

That thought turned into, "Why should I just stick to blogging about card making? I can blog about anything, right? Right!" So, with that, I am going to bring my blog back to life with more than just cards! With tips, tricks, thoughts, and many other things I want to share!

So, with that... here's to the resuscitation of my blog!

Small Wonder

I was able to use two of my favorite things when I made this card: 1) Treat Cups and 2) Clear Mount Blocks! If you haven't had a chance to use the new clear mount blocks from Stampin' Up! you need to stop what you are doing, get out the new Occasions Mini Catalog and order the blocks! They are amazing! They make stamping so much easier!! You can easily arrange your images for straighter stamping!! I made this card for the shoe box for our Stamp Club last month and it was a hit!

And the treat cups are a great addition to any card! There are so many themes you can create with what you put in the cups... fish crackers, glitter, candy... you name it, put it in this cute 'lil cup! Stampin' Up! also sells padded envelopes to make shipping this card easier.

Go Green!

I will always be faithful to my favorite Stampin' Up! color, Kiwi Kiss! Some simple designer paper and ribbon can create a quick thank you card in minutes! Happy Stamping!

Sweet Peas

So, Stampin' Up! has really gotten my attention with these stitched Sweet Pea flower sets! I am hooked! They are so versatile and they really take the guess work out of making a card! I am happy with the way this simple Birthday card turned out. I layered the ribbon and used my new favorite stitched flowers. Happy Birthday, Richelle!

Cookie Tin

I will be filling this Pringle tin turned cookie tin with Caramel Apple cookies! We are headed to my dad's for Thanksgiving and I thought I would bring him some 'yummy for his tummy!'

I've Been Inspired!!

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post! So many things have changed in my life over the past several weeks... but they are good things!

Sadly, stamping hasn't been a priority. However, after tonight's Stamp Club meeting I have been inspired to get stamping again! Thanks Patrice!!

I am anxious to get back in my stamping groove!! Stay tuned...

Fireworks!

I can't wait for the fireworks this weekend! We will be traveling tomorrow, so I had to post a day early for the Bloggers Challenge! I don't have any stamps that celebrate our independance... what a shame. But bugs are certainly a staple in every 4th of July celebration, so I thought I would use this cutie for a simple red, white, and blue card!

I can't wait for my light tent to arrive! You will notice a drastic improvement in my pictures! My little digital camera just doesn't do the job!

Rub-On's!

Although my first love is a rubber stamp, rub-on's sure make for a quick and fabulous card! Try it! I was a card making machine using rub-on's I just had laying around!

I love the Stampin' Up! Crazy For Cupcakes stamp set! We have been camping all weekend, so this will be a quick post! I just wanted to show off this card, I am really happy with the way it turned out! As always, I was inspired by Split Coast Stampers!

I am very blessed because I have wonderful parents, including 2 Dads who prove their unconditional love every day! Coming from a divorced family isn't as bad as I once thought it would be. Just Because...

I love the black and white color combo! It's a black tie affair for my cards today! I used rub-on's for these cards... so quick and simple!
